So Much To Do
Dahlonega, Helen and Elijay are a short drive, while Amicalola Falls State Park is literally around the corner. The park offers an array of hiking, from simple and flat paths for amateurs, to the tougher and steeper terrains for the experts, while also giving the outdoorsman multi-level zip lining adventures.
Seasonally, the Fall offers pumpkin patches and the Spring brings juicy strawberries at Burt’s Pumpkin Farm. Several orchard options for apple picking, and the Christmas holiday offers a decorated Dahlonega downtown which is something straight out of a movie.
A couple minutes farther through a beautiful scenic mountainous route, one will find Helen, a small German-inspired town; offering a riverside steakhouse and pub style eating options, and make sure to stop at Hansel & Gretel candy store for some local made fudge. Additionally, Lake Lanier is great for trout and bass fishing.
